报告提要：

Understanding the common and distinct features and preclinical risk mechanisms of major mood disorders is a difficult task in frontier psychiatry. Recently, the Research Domain Criteria system has been increasingly applied to delineate the common dimensional profiles of disorders. My previous research focused on applying the core Research Domain Criteria dimensions (cognition, social system, positive and negative valence), in order to 1) reveal the biological and psychological features of major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder and post-stress mental dysfunctions 2) construct multimodal neural prediction models for mood disorders and high-risk illness development and 3) test the efficacy of short-term non-pharmacological intervention in improving core-dimension functions among non-clinical individuals. These studies collectively showed that first, positive emotion plays key roles in both depression and post-stress mental dysfunctions. Second, deficient social affective processing (i.e., loneliness) in depression and high risk for bipolar disorder are both associated with functional and structural changes of the cerebellum. Third, executive control function in lonely depressive patients and high risk for bipolar disorder both implicated the inferior parietal cortex. Depression-related suicidality, as well as high risks for bipolar disorder, can both be predicted with high accuracy using multimodal brain structural and functional connectivity data. Interventions targeted to improve the core Research Domain functions have yielded promising results among young and older individuals.

报告人介绍：

邵正羲，广州医科大学2022年南山学者高层次引进特聘教授，广州医科大学附属脑科医院首席功能磁共振研究员。

本科毕业于牛津大学实验心理学系，博士毕业于牛津大学精神病学系，后于香港大学心理学系任博士后、研究助理教授。主要研究方向为心理神经影像学研究，包括认知神经科学、临床神经科学，以及神经行为干预下的大脑结构功能改变。研究兴趣主要集中在心境病（抑郁症和双相情感障碍）及高危的神经心理机制，也涉及行为成瘾、人格障碍等的影像学特征和机制研究。

已累计于高影响力国际期刊（如Nature Mental Health, Brain, Behavior and Immunity, Ebiomedicine, Psychological Medicine, Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews等）以第一或通讯作者身份发表近30篇高水平SCI论文，累计影响因子超过200，并有论著章节一部。发表在Ebiomedicine的研究于2020年获得中国教育部颁发的第八届高等学校科学研究优秀著作论文奖。先后主持省级别以上基金4个，共计金额超过200万元，包括国家自然科学面上基金项目。
